Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”1 The previous two sections of this book draw a pretty gloomy picture for our law enforcement officers. They show the stark reality of what police work is really like and the cold hard facts of the effects of law enforcement work on the officer from academy through retirement. There is good news however. There are people specially called by God and trained to come alongside of the officers: to be their
